The iHouse info session is an opportunity for us to get to know you, and for you to get to know us! It consists of a half-hour Zoom meeting (or phone call, if you do not have access to Zoom) between you and two current iHousers who will give you an overview of our community; answer any questions you may have about iHouse, New House, or MIT; and ask you about your personal and academic goals and what you're looking for in a support community this year.

We are looking for people who are passionate about social justice, sustainability, and/or international development, and who share our community values. (There will be many opportunities to get involved, and prior experience is not necessary.) iHouse is home to many international students, students of color, and LGBTQ+ students, with a diverse set of backgrounds. You must attend an info session if you wish to be considered for a spot in iHouse. If you can't make any of the available time slots, please contact [email protected], and we will work with you.

You will be notified by 12 PM EDT on August 28th about whether we can offer you a spot in iHouse this semester, and if you receive an offer, you will have until 12 PM EDT on August 29th to accept it, in which case you will be removed from the dorm assignment process and placed directly into iHouse. We look forward to meeting you!
