In East Campus, frosh will be distributed in groups ranging from 5-10 frosh across 10 different subcommunities. These are based on our existing hall communities, and will consist of upperclassmen who have volunteered to help build community with the new frosh. More information on our existing hall communities can be found on the EC website under halls.
During SCUFFY, frosh will be able to get a better sense of the upperclassmen who will make up each subcommunity, through various options of synchronous and asynchronous communication. Frosh will then rank subcommunities and be algorithmically sorted. We want frosh to feel comfortable engaging with all of EC, so we will continue encouraging interaction beyond just their primary subcommunity.
For now, the best way to communicate with each subcommunity is through a Hall’s hallchair mailing list. These are all included in the table below.
